Workout because you LOVE your body, not because you hate it.
We only get one body - we have to treat it well. We shouldn't punish our body with movement - we should honor it by moving it. And as our life gets busier and time seems to be getting tighter, it becomes even more important to create space for exercise, for all the physical and mental benefits it provides.
You don't need to spend an hour doing burpees to see results. Even 10-30 minutes of movement a day can be all it takes to shift the course of your health in a positive direction. I've spent the last 8 years following at-home workout options. It just works for me. I don't need to deal with someone else's schedule, worry about getting into the class I want, dealing with a commute to/from the gym or trying to figure out childcare options. I can get my workout done, on my own time, in the comfort of my own home, with minimal equipment and without much more space than that of a yoga mat.
Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE getting out for a group class from time to time. But if you're finding that you're not getting to the gym or to the classes you love as often as you'd like, take a peek at some of the workouts that have kept me in great shape for almost a decade.
